About the Vienna Taste Guide

The Vienna Taste Guide is the free digital magazine for food, drink and lifestyle in Vienna. Twice a year, in summer and winter, we feature the restaurants, bars, cafés and addresses that define the city's food scene. Not recommendations from a desk, but places we've visited, tried and found genuinely good.

What matters to us

Vienna's food scene changes faster than most city guides keep up with. New places open with a clear point of view, old addresses show why they've lasted decades, and at the city's markets, the chefs who know what matters do their own shopping. The Vienna Taste Guide collects these places: from fine dining to the neighborhood beisl, from the Heuriger to the rooftop bar.
